About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the accounting aspects of client engagements from A to Z
- Manage a portfolio consisting primarily of small and medium-sized businesses across a range of industries
- Review accounts and ensure the reliability of financial data
- Prepare annual accounts and tax returns
- Present annual accounts and analyze clients’ economic and financial position
- Advise clients on management, taxation, and business performance management
- Monitor, retain, and develop the client portfolio
- Recommend suitable additional services
- Prepare dashboards, forecasts, financial analyses, and business valuations
- Support clients with their decisions and growth projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Higher education degree in accounting
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting firm or a similar environment
- Proficiency in account reviews and accounting production
- Proficiency in preparing annual accounts and tax returns
- Ability to advise business leaders on management, taxation, and business performance management
- Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
