About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and analyse system performance using industry-leading monitoring platforms to identify and resolve faults
  • Provide remote technical support and occasional site-based assistance to contractors investigating and rectifying system issues
  • Support service case management and liaise with suppliers regarding technical support and warranty claims
  • Complete technical onboarding of newly installed energy assets, including design, operational and handover reviews
  • Review contractor documentation from planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Lead investigations into complex technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors
  • Optimise and support a growing portfolio of distributed energy assets, including solar PV systems and emerging renewable technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Tertiary qualification in a STEM discipline
  • Experience in solar PV system design, monitoring and/or operations is highly regarded
  • SAA / CEC qualifications are highly regarded, however not essential
  • Sound understanding of relevant Australian standards and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and manage competing priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with contractors, suppliers, customers and internal teams
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to undergo a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
  • Ability to undergo a medical assessment if necessary
  • Must be able to work in Australia / comply with Australian employment requirements
