About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical assistance to the Information, Innovation & Insight Department and business stakeholders
- Perform complex to advanced business analysis, systems analysis, and software analysis, design, and testing across all phases of solution implementation
- Document detailed functional, technical, EIR accessibility, and security requirements
- Write and groom user stories with business owners and technical teams
- Create business process maps
- Develop conceptual, object, and use case models
- Produce system architecture diagrams
- Review, analyze, and evaluate test cases and scenarios against business and system requirements
- Develop and execute test cases and scenarios to ensure traceability to business and system requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-7 years of experience with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Participant Individual Record Layout (PIRL)
- 4-7 years of experience planning, leading, gathering, and analyzing business and functional requirements with business and technical groups
- 4-7 years of experience developing business process maps and performing fit-gap analyses
- 4-7 years of experience solving complex problems and troubleshooting software systems
- 4-7 years of experience collecting requirements across multiple program areas with varying business needs
- 4-7 years of experience gathering, documenting, and capturing design requirements
- 4-7 years of experience developing Business Requirement Documents and Software Requirement Specifications
- 4-7 years of experience facilitating workshops, meetings, and collaborative work sessions with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
- 4-7 years of experience preparing and executing test plans, leading and assisting team members with test activities, and documenting and communicating testing results
- 4-7 years of experience implementing and testing interfaces exchanging data with large, complex legacy systems
- 4-7 years of experience assisting with project management life-cycle plans and work artifacts
- 4-7 years of experience with SDLC management software such as HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or Atlassian
- Texas-based candidates are preferred
- Candidates may be required to satisfy a criminal background check as authorized by Texas law
- May be required to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Candidates may be required to report to the office with 72 hours of notice for agency business needs
