About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Model and configure energy sourcing and sales contracts within ETRM tools
  • Perform detailed analyses on energy prices and performance
  • Execute energy cost and revenue calculations with proper plant allocations
  • Control energy prices and settle financial energy transactions
  • Analyze major deviations in the energy P&L
  • Prepare energy price guidance for Group Target and Reforecast processes
  • Assist with Group financial reporting, including off-balance sheet energy commitments
  • Participate in REMIT reporting obligations
  • Help develop and implement new controlling processes
  • Contribute to projects optimizing IT tools
  • Collaborate with front office, supply chain, business administration, and energy management teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master degree in Engineering, Economics or Business & Management
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Energy Controlling or Middle Office roles
  • Financial background
  • Solid understanding of energy markets
  • Experience with Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) systems
  • Experience with finance tools such as SAP and LIBS
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High adaptability
  • Proactive, hands-on mindset
  • Strong proficiency in English required
  • French and/or Dutch is a plus
