About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of bases within a defined area
  • Coordinate clinical, aviation, and maintenance services to optimize operational, safety, and financial targets
  • Ensure bases are staffed, operational, safe, and achieve maximum in-service availability
  • Collaborate with Clinical, Maintenance, Safety, Aviation, and Sales Centers of Excellence
  • Drive KPIs to maximize profit contribution
  • Manage and control P&L, expenses, and payroll across assigned bases
  • Schedule base staff to ensure full coverage and minimize overtime
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Recruit, manage performance, and develop teammates; handle employee relations, coaching, and termination decisions
  • Oversee supply chain, logistics, non-aviation, maintenance, and clinical activities and expenses
  • Coordinate maintenance planning and spare utilization to minimize out-of-service events
  • Support the Regional Director with customer scorecards and execute action plans
  • Maintain and monitor business, medical, and other required licenses
  • Coordinate base startups, moves, closures, facility repairs, maintenance, and lease management
  • Directly supervise employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving complaints
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–5 years of related work experience in clinical, aviation, or maintenance with a strong leadership background and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred
  • Strong leadership background
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration at all levels
  • Critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage revenue and budgets
  • Ability to prepare written reports
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to be available 24/7 for operational requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 70% or more depending on business needs
  • Regular attendance
  • No certificates, licenses, or registrations required
  • Must comply with applicable DOT and non-DOT random and reasonable-suspicion requirements
