About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components according to maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation after installation or removal
- Execute aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals
- Participate in the continuous improvement phase of the company’s Safety Management System
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by authorized operations, maintenance, pilot, or safety leaders
- Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service
- Validate or confirm aircraft Status Report data
- Request aviation parts and supplies and maintain an adequate, orderly inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 to 5 years’ related experience working as a licensed A&P
- FAA A&P License in good standing
- Rotor experience needed
- Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
- Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
- Ability to read and understand 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs, and related documents
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
- Proficiency using electronic or paper-based manuals and vendor data
- Ability to learn and use the Company’s ERP system (Ramco)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Ability to perform periodic travel supporting Part 135 operations and company objectives
- Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing
- Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
- FAR 135 operations preferred
- RAMCO experience preferred
