About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations on company-operated aircraft and articles
  • Inspect and repair aircraft and components according to maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, Federal Aviation Regulations, and applicable manuals
  • Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation
  • Complete aircraft maintenance documentation in regulatory and company compliance
  • Participate in the company’s Safety Management System continuous improvement phase
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area
  • Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by designated operations, maintenance, pilot, safety, or lead personnel
  • Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service
  • Validate or confirm aircraft status-report data
  • Request aviation parts and supplies and maintain an adequate, orderly inventory
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 to 5 years’ related job experience required
  • Active/current FAA A&P certification required
  • FAA A&P License in good standing
  • Rotor experience preferred; primary base aircraft is an EC145
  • FAR 135 operations preferred
  • Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
  • Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
  • Ability to read and understand 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs, and similar documents
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Ability to use electronic or paper-based manuals and navigate vendor data
  • Ability to learn and use the company’s ERP system, Ramco
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing
  • Regular scheduled attendance
  • Timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
  • Must live within an hour of the base
  • Ability to travel periodically in support of Part 135 operations; expected travel is 25–50%
