About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of company-operated aircraft and articles
  • Inspect and repair aircraft and components according to maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation upon installation or removal
  • Execute aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals
  • Participate in the continuous improvement phase (level 4) of the company’s Safety Management System
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area
  • Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by authorized company leaders
  • Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service
  • Validate or confirm aircraft Status Report data
  • Request aviation parts and supplies to maintain adequate inventory and operational readiness
  • Provide periodic travel in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives (25–50% travel)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have rotor experience for this base
  • 2 to 5 years’ related experience
  • FAA A&P License in good standing (REQUIRED)
  • Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
  • FAR 135 operations preferred
  • Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
  • Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
  • Ability to read and understand 337’s, Service Bulletins, AD’s, and similar documents
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Efficient use of electronic or paper-based manuals and ability to navigate vendor data
  • Ability to learn and utilize the Company’s ERP system (Ramco)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • RAMCO experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Professional team-player attitude
  • Strong communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills
  • Regular scheduled attendance
  • Timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
  • Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements
