About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of company-operated aircraft and articles
- Inspect and repair aircraft and components according to maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation
- Complete aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals
- Participate in the continuous improvement phase of the company’s Safety Management System
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by company leadership
- Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service
- Validate or confirm aircraft Status Report data
- Request aviation parts and supplies and maintain orderly inventory for prompt repairs and operational readiness
- Perform other assigned duties
- Provide periodic travel in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 to 5 years’ related experience
- Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
- FAR 135 operations preferred
- Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
- Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
- Ability to read and understand 337’s, Service Bulletins, AD’s, and similar documents
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
- Efficient use of electronic or paper-based manuals and vendor data
- Ability to learn and utilize the Company’s ERP system (Ramco)
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- FAA A&P License in good standing
- Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements
- Regular scheduled attendance
- On-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
- Ability to travel 25–50%
