About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components according to maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation after installation or removal
- Execute aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals
- Participate in the continuous improvement phase of the company’s Safety Management System (SMS)
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by company operations, maintenance, safety, or pilot leadership
- Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service
- Validate or confirm aircraft Status Report data
- Request aviation parts and supplies and maintain an adequate, orderly inventory
- Support company operational goals and objectives and perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training
- Active/current FAA A&P license required
- FAA A&P License in good standing
- Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
- FAR 135 operations preferred
- Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
- Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
- Ability to read and understand 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs, and similar documents
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
- Proficiency using electronic or paper-based manuals and navigating vendor data
- Ability to learn and use the Company’s ERP system (Ramco)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- RAMCO experience preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
- Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements
- Periodic travel in support of Part 135 operations; 25–50% travel expected
