About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of company-operated aircraft and articles
  • Inspect and repair aircraft and components according to maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against documentation after installation or removal
  • Complete aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals
  • Participate in the continuous improvement phase of the company’s Safety Management System
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area
  • Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by designated operations, maintenance, pilot, safety, or lead mechanic personnel
  • Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service
  • Validate or confirm aircraft Status Report data
  • Request aviation parts and supplies and maintain an adequate, orderly inventory
  • Perform other assigned duties
  • Provide timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
  • Travel periodically in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Rotor experience required; work on an EC145
  • High school diploma or GED and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • FAA A&P License in good standing
  • Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
  • Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
  • Ability to read and understand 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs, and similar documents
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Efficient use of electronic or paper-based manuals and ability to navigate vendor data
  • Ability to learn and use the Company’s ERP system (Ramco)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to perform essential functions satisfactorily
  • Periodic travel in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives
  • Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements
