About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in daily operations within the Logistics Center
  • Pick, ship, receive, store, and test inventory and special tools for field aircraft operations
  • Process Ramco-generated Material Movement Documents for aircraft parts, goods, and supplies
  • Schedule high-priority counter-to-counter shipments with carriers and ensure delivery by requested due dates
  • Request and adhere to departmental budgets for office and shipping supplies and freight/material-movement expenses
  • Adhere to FAA, SOX, and DOD regulations and maintain a neat, organized, and safe Logistics Center
  • Conduct scheduled inventory cycle counts and monitor labeling, bin assignments, and inventory movement
  • Conduct audits at base locations for the Inventory team as needed
  • Receive aircraft parts, goods, and supplies from approved vendors in Ramco software
  • Coordinate with buyers and repair coordinators to obtain traceability and serviceability documentation
  • Drive to parcel sort centers, airports, or bases to hand-deliver AOG components to mechanics as needed
  • Enter data into Ramco Aviation Software Systems
  • Perform inventory counts and bay maintenance; identify root causes of discrepancies
  • Perform other assigned duties, including safe operations under the Air Methods Safety Management System and participation in the 6S lean initiative

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED and one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two (2) years aviation and/or parts/logistics operations experience
  • Ability to operate a Fork Lift and pass a certification of operation test after initial OSHA training
  • Problem solving skills and ability to count
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive at night for AOG on-call requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, prioritization, and business decision-making ability
  • Dependable and self-motivated
  • Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
  • Data entry skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Forklift Certification preferred
  • HAZMAT shipping certification preferred
  • Regular scheduled attendance
  • Ability to perform outside-normal-hours on-call duties to support AOG parts needs
