About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate revenue within the assigned territory
- Promote United Rotorcraft products and services to generate prospects and nurture qualified sales opportunities
- Execute the sales strategy in alignment with United Rotorcraft’s strategic marketing plan
- Establish and maintain relationships with customer and strategic-partner decision makers and influencers
- Develop and execute prospecting and promotional strategies to meet customer requirements
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests for proposals
- Lead proposal efforts with the Commercial Manager and Sales Engineer, including work-scope development, technical specifications, pricing, and proposal compliance
- Provide market insights and estimates of market potential for annual financial and strategic marketing plans
- Maintain current customer contacts, sales pipeline details, and campaign information in Salesforce
- Represent United Rotorcraft at industry trade shows and symposiums
- Evaluate customer requirements, industry regulations, and trends to support innovation and market leadership
- Travel approximately 33% of the time
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university; and 15 years’ manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum ten (10) years management experience
- General knowledge of aviation and workplace regulations pertaining to the company’s business activities
- Knowledge and experience with U.S. state and local contracting and acquisition regulations
- Experience with government contracting and contract execution
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical-thinking and reasoning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Proficiency with Salesforce
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Must comply with company policies and federal, local, and international regulations regarding proposal approvals, submittals, and export
