About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate revenue and drive business growth within an assigned territory
  • Prospect and promote United Rotorcraft products and services to meet customer requirements and generate qualified sales opportunities against annual sales targets
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests for proposals
  • Lead proposal efforts with the Commercial Manager and Sales Engineer, including work scope development, technical specifications, pricing, and proposal compliance
  • Comply with company policies and federal, local, and international regulations regarding proposal approvals, submittals, and export
  • Support development and execution of United Rotorcraft's Sales and Business Development strategy
  • Provide market leadership to drive customer engagement, business growth, and revenue generation within assigned market segments
  • Contribute market potential estimates and inputs to annual financial and strategic marketing plans
  • Maintain current customer contacts, sales pipeline details, and campaign information in Salesforce
  • Represent United Rotorcraft at industry trade shows and symposiums
  • Evaluate customer requirements, industry regulations, and trends to support innovation and market leadership
  • Manage partners and consultants supporting the assigned market, including monthly budgets and payments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from an accredited four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five (5) years of sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing experience with demonstrated success achieving revenue and growth objectives
  • Five (5) years of experience in air medical, helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS), aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), aerospace, defense, government services, or related aviation industries
  • Experience developing customer relationships, identifying opportunities, negotiating agreements, and closing complex sales opportunities
  • Knowledge of aviation operations, products, services, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Additional industry-specific knowledge, certifications, licenses, or contracting experience may be required based on the assigned business segment
  • Preferred qualifications may include air medical or HEMS experience, MRO sales or operational experience, defense/DoD/government contracting experience, federal/state/military acquisition experience, or rotary-wing operational experience
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, strategic partners, government agencies, healthcare organizations, and industry stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify customer needs and develop aligned solutions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and organizational levels
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM software
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred; additional certifications, licenses, or credentials may be required based on the assigned business segment
  • Regular scheduled attendance required
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time
