About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations on company-operated aircraft and articles
- Inspect and repair aircraft and components according to maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation
- Complete aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals
- Participate in the continuous improvement phase of the company Safety Management System
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by company operational and maintenance leaders
- Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that could take an aircraft out of service
- Validate or confirm aircraft Status Report data
- Request aviation parts and supplies and maintain an adequate, orderly inventory
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 to 5 years of related aircraft maintenance experience required
- Rotor experience required for this base
- FAA A&P License in good standing required
- Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
- Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
- Ability to read and understand 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs, and similar documents
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Ability to use electronic or paper-based manuals and navigate vendor data
- Ability to learn and use the company ERP system, Ramco
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Strong communication, professional attitude, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
- Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements
- Periodic travel in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives; 25–50% travel
