About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components according to maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, Federal Aviation Regulations, and applicable manuals
  • Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation after installation or removal
  • Execute aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals
  • Participate in the continuous improvement phase of the company’s Safety Management System
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area
  • Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by company leadership
  • Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service
  • Validate or confirm aircraft Status Report data
  • Request aviation parts and supplies and maintain adequate, orderly inventory for prompt repairs and operational readiness
  • Perform other assigned duties
  • Provide on-call support and periodic travel for Part 135 operations and company objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • FAA A&P License in good standing
  • Rotor experience needed; EC145 experience preferred
  • FAR 135 operations preferred
  • Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
  • Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
  • Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
  • Ability to read and understand 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs, and similar documents
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Efficient use of electronic or paper-based manuals and ability to navigate vendor data
  • Ability to learn and use the company ERP system, Ramco
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements
  • Regular scheduled attendance
  • Timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
  • Periodic travel in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives
