About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of company-operated aircraft and articles
  • Perform aircraft and component inspections and repairs in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation during installation or removal
  • Complete aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals
  • Participate in the continuous improvement phase of the company’s Safety Management System
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area
  • Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by operations, maintenance, safety, or pilot leadership
  • Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service
  • Validate or confirm aircraft status-report data
  • Request aviation parts and supplies and maintain an adequate, orderly inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have rotor experience for this base
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • 2 to 5 years’ related aircraft maintenance experience is required
  • FAA A&P License in good standing is Required
  • Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
  • Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
  • Ability to read and understand 337’s, Service Bulletins, AD’s, and similar documents
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Proficient in the use of electronic or paper-based manuals and vendor data
  • Ability to learn and utilize the Company’s ERP system (Ramco)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily
  • Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements
  • Regular scheduled attendance and timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
  • Ability to travel periodically in support of Part 135 operations; stated travel percentage is 25–50%
