About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of company-operated aircraft and articles
- Inspect and repair aircraft and components according to maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation after installation or removal
- Execute aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals
- Participate in the continuous improvement phase (level 4) of the company’s Safety Management System
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- Accurately account for time on task using the Ramco EAP system
- Identify parts, tools, and supplies needed for non-routine discrepancies
- Perform maintenance on 145 shop support equipment
- Mentor and train less experienced Mechanics
- Participate in 145 shop LEAN process improvements
- Travel approximately 10% of the time
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
- 2 to 5 years’ related aircraft maintenance experience is required
- Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
- Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
- Ability to read and understand 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs, and similar documents
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
- Efficient use of electronic or paper-based manuals and vendor data
- Ability to learn and utilize the Company’s ERP system (Ramco)
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily
- Regular scheduled attendance
- FAA A&P License in good standing preferred
- Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
- Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
- FAR 145 operations preferred
- Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements
