About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the growth of Air Products' combustion applications business by identifying, developing, and securing new customer opportunities
  • Act as the technical expert during customer engagements, support sales teams, and demonstrate the value of Air Products' solutions
  • Develop and present technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and support projects through start-up
  • Provide process expertise for combustion applications to differentiate Air Products within business cases
  • Serve as the combustion specialist for France while supporting Northern Europe and selected opportunities across the wider European region
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Deliver technical training and support to sales teams
  • Represent Air Products at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in industrial combustion technologies, ideally 10+ years; candidates with around 5 years of highly relevant experience will also be considered
  • Strong technical expertise in glass, aluminium, cement, steel, or other high-temperature manufacturing environments
  • Technical credibility and ability to translate process expertise into customer value
  • Prior sales experience is necessary
  • Master's degree in Combustion Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent industry experience will also be considered
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an international environment
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Willingness to travel regularly across France and Europe
