About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Packaged Gases Engineering team in delivering depot engineering solutions
- Develop large-scale Packaged Gases projects
- Execute strategic improvement initiatives
- Provide day-to-day technical support for Packaged Gases teams globally
- Define project scope, design, cost estimates, execution strategies, stakeholder reporting, barrier resolution, and resource planning
- Support commissioning, start-up, and handover to site operations
- Lead central depot automation and digitization projects
- Support and coordinate local initiatives
- Develop and implement plant condition monitoring across European Packaged Gases depots
- Set KPIs and configure dashboards
- Support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for depots and production scheduling
- Contribute to depot equipment design and development
- Assist in productivity projects aimed at reducing depot costs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Valid passport for European travel
- Full driving license
- Knowledge of CAPP and Air Products Engineering Desktop applications (training provided if needed)
- Ability to develop multi-disciplinary project scopes
- Understanding of project engineering is advantageous
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to drive projects to completion and build confidence with local teams
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- English required
- Additional European language is an advantage
