About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • End-to-end project management: planning, coordinating, and delivering projects with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Responsibility for exciting projects across Germany, from the initial concept through successful commissioning
  • Leading internal teams and external partners throughout all engineering phases
  • Stakeholder management and leadership of steering committees
  • Responsibility for budgets and schedules, from cost estimates through final acceptance
  • Complete project documentation and reporting in SAP, MS Office, and Air Products tools
  • Close coordination with depots, central functions, and international teams
  • On-site coordination of compliant installations with Field Engineers and construction partners
  • Supporting maintenance activities and participating in audits
  • Monitoring the entire Packaged Gases Germany project portfolio and ensuring compliance with statutory and company standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in engineering, such as process engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or plant engineering
  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of project management, cost control, and business processes
  • High degree of initiative and resilience
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
  • Fluent German
  • Very good English
  • Willingness to travel within Germany
