About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the evolution of Airbnb's supply integration platform for the third-party supply ecosystem
- Set the third-party supply growth strategy and technical roadmap with cross-functional leadership
- Set the technical and AI strategy for the platform to improve capability, efficiency, quality, and scalability
- Build, grow, and mentor a high-performing engineering team across multiple projects
- Partner with cross-functional leaders as the senior technical voice to align priorities and drive delivery
- Partner with senior leadership across Data Science, Product, and Business Development to align strategies and define and execute multi-year technical roadmaps
- Work with business and third-party partners to select partnerships, deliver integrations, and ensure partner reliability and performance
- Lead, coach, and develop engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of overall engineering experience
- 5+ years managing a team in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
- Significant experience navigating internal partners across multiple teams and driving strategy and alignment
- Experience building, leading, and architecting full-stack products and systems at enterprise scale
- Experience applying modern artificial intelligence technologies to products and development cycles
- Hands-on experience leading project teams, setting technical direction and strategy, and working cross-functionally with Product and Data Science teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Nice to have: Experience designing and building external-facing APIs and AI Agent Integration
