About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide end-to-end cyber security support to projects
- Lead the definition of security requirements and security concepts for specific projects
- Lead the design of secure architecture for aerospace solutions
- Lead security risk assessment and threat modeling processes
- Act as Security Officer for certain aerospace projects and serve as point of contact for related security topics
- Verify and validate cyber-security system and network designs
- Evaluate, develop, and adapt baselines for secure system and network configuration and hardening aligned with security requirements
- Support the bid team with technical security solutions and effort estimation
- Coordinate stakeholders and team members to ensure delivery of technical solutions on-quality, on-time, and on-cost (oQoToC)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, communications, computer science or similar, or comparable experience
- Several years of experience in system security engineering and defining security concepts and processes for complex Space and Aviation systems
- Good knowledge of cyber security standards and frameworks, e.g. ISO 27000 Family, NIST 2, CMMC
- Experience with security products and secure communications protocols
- Strong expertise with secure architecture principles and concepts, e.g. Zero Trust, Defense in Depth, Least Privilege
- Knowledge of risk assessment frameworks, e.g. EBIOS, NIST SP800-37
- Solid understanding of defining verification and validation procedures for secure architecture
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
- German would be a plus
