About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Finance stakeholders to optimize KPI frameworks and provide visibility into delivery plans, budgets, and operational risks.
- Oversee key aspects of the engineering service procurement process.
- Partner with core-country SCMs to align on high-impact PRM strategies, mitigate late deliveries, and resolve goods receipt roadblocks.
- Analyze workload and capacity data across NatCos and programmes.
- Provide visibility into internal, external, and extended-make resource allocations to support stakeholder decision-making.
- Identify operational risks and opportunities from mixed data inputs and synthesize practical recommendations for internal customers.
- Build professional relationships with remote international teams and manage diverse stakeholder requirements.
- Lead local initiatives for the Airbus Portugal Local Team.
- Orchestrate the centralization of business management activities and design and enforce standardized processes.
- Optimize GBS ways of working by mentoring the team in lean management and Six Sigma methodologies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Educational background in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, or a demonstrated equivalent track record in business analysis, data management, or operational tracking.
- Extensive, proven track record in Business Performance, Engineering Support, or Financial Analysis.
- Strong ability to manage varied tasks and interpret detailed operational data.
- Highly structured mastery with the ability to look at problems from a broad perspective, spot less obvious solutions, and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Full mastery of Google Workspace tools, including ecosystem automation and coding.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel data architectures.
- Fluent English is required.
- French, German, or Spanish is a plus.
