About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate all departments involved in aircraft completion, maintenance, and repair projects
  • Establish, supervise, and revise project schedules and budgets
  • Track and lead project changes
  • Support contract writing and manage contract execution
  • Assess and handle project risks
  • Partner with team members to complete projects on schedule, on budget, and on quality
  • Guide customers through aircraft acquisition and completion
  • Manage customer experience and contractual commitments
  • Develop and track project timelines in MS Project, including critical path analysis
  • Update schedules weekly with actual start and finish dates and adjust them for changing requirements
  • Advise project teams, customers, and leadership on project achievements and changes
  • Develop and validate project budgets in MS Excel and MS Access
  • Track Schedule Performance Indicator (SPI) and Cost Performance Indicator (CPI)
  • Support sales and proposal teams with technical advice
  • Own contracts from proposal through project completion
  • Track contractual changes and reflect change orders in schedules and budgets
  • Interpret contractual requirements and solicit feedback from internal counsel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Program Management field, or equivalent experience (4 years)
  • Three (3) years of experience in project management within a production or technical environment
  • Financial experience for budgeting purposes
  • Technical experience to comprehend technical data packages
  • 10-20% Domestic and International Travel involved
  • Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
  • Ability to break difficult issues down into manageable work packages
  • Strong crisis management skills and planning skills
  • Solid command of the English language
  • Strong skills in MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Access
  • G-Suite
  • Able to travel independently and at short notice
  • Ability to perform required physical activities, including carrying and lifting up to 30 lbs/14 kgs
  • Required PPE includes safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators/masks, and/or protective gloves as required
  • Steel-toed shoes required for shop floor visits; appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required
