About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage an assigned territory and/or portfolio of customer accounts
  • Drive new sales, account revenue growth through up-selling and cross-selling, and contract renewals
  • Lead prospecting, qualification, account planning, account development strategy, consultative selling, contract negotiation and signature, and handover to delivery
  • Achieve or exceed personal sales revenue and renewal targets/quotas
  • Achieve assigned business objectives, such as new product launch customers and market-share targets
  • Understand customers’ flight operations processes, procedures, tools, systems, services, priorities, needs and requests
  • Maintain expertise on Skywise and partner products to identify up-sell opportunities and solve customer challenges
  • Build relationships with decision makers and maintain awareness of customer issues
  • Establish and implement strategic account development plans for selected strategic accounts
  • Coordinate with the Airbus global account management team
  • Create opportunities based on market potential, customer requirements and company capabilities
  • Manage contract renewals, including negotiation of terms, conditions, pricing and commitments
  • Develop commercial strategies, tactics, pricing targets and action plans to grow awareness and sales of Skywise solutions
  • Prepare and present persuasive sales presentations
  • Use Skywise CRM tools and apply the sales process to maximize visits and proposal results
  • Attend trade shows and user conferences as required
  • Assist Portfolio & Program and Marketing organizations with specifications, priorities and potential customers
  • Coordinate internally to resolve invoicing, accounts receivable, contract, pricing and other commercial issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10-15 years sales experience in SaaS within LAC region and the Airline Flight Ops or Operations Control Centre (OCC) field
  • Recent experience of working with leading airlines within the European region
  • Strategic or consultative selling skills
  • Spanish and English
  • Demonstrated knowledge of airline flight operations, or practical experience in flight operations
  • Demonstrated understanding of airline/aviation IT and application software
  • In-depth knowledge of airline industry
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Project management and strategic account planning skills
  • Willingness to travel considerably as required
  • Able to function and work independently and confidently
  • Sales Force knowledge
  • Up to 60% domestic and international travel
  • Current work authorization required; Airbus does not sponsor visas for US positions unless specified
