About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Sustainably, proactively, and continuously improve the level of information security within the Center of Competence at Airbus Defence and Space Cyber
Develop and maintain information security concepts, including security-related documents such as policies and procedures, in accordance with the current BSI IT-Grundschutz standards
Work closely with the Cybersecurity Architect
Advise relevant stakeholders on technical, process-related, and organizational information security matters
Participate in internal and external information security workshops and meetings
Travel to customers as part of project activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in information security, computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a comparable field
Ideally, two years of relevant practical professional experience in IT/information security and in advising on IT-Grundschutz requirements
Knowledge of tools for modeling information security requirements (SAVe, Verinice, HiScout Grundschutz, or other ISMS tools) is an advantage
Preferred certification: BSI IT-Grundschutz Practitioner or a comparable information security certification
Enthusiasm for information security in project environments
Strong teamworking and communication skills
Excellent communication skills in German and English, at a business-fluent level
