About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement and deploy data integration pipelines across Business Systems, Engineering Systems, Machines, Drones and other data sources
- Define integration tasks for new developments, use cases and Product Owner needs
- Lead UAT and deployment activities in alignment with the associated Data Integration Product Operation Manager
- Support Data Integration Platform performance analysis to maintain existing SLAs
- Support migration of existing data pipelines to a microservices, API-based architecture
- Support AI adoption acceleration initiatives using the interoperability layer for an Agentic AI approach
- Support data modelling activities aligned with Data Foundations and the semantic layer
- Maintain up-to-date information flows, platform SLRs and configuration management documentation
- Deliver UAT materials, deployment plans and acceptance criteria for data flows
- Produce data integration technology metrics and provide technical architecture and integration advice
- Develop physical data models in relevant Data Integration platforms
- Implement data quality checks and automated alert mechanisms
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using classical and agile project management methodologies
- Provide end-to-end solution implementation accountability and post-deployment service inputs
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in IT related field
- English and Spanish negotiation level is required
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Existing Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one would be mandatory
- Over 5 years of relevant work experience as a Data Engineer with key focus on Data Integration aspects, including Data Quality checks
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in building/developing data pipelines with Enterprise Data Integration Platforms (middlewares, ETL, ELT, API platforms …)
- Experience with solutions/integrations for large scale data pipelines (on-premises)
- Experience handling data from CSV, JSON, XML, relational databases and other sources
- Deep experience in programming languages related to data integration, including Python, Flask, Node, JavaScript and Express
- Experience developing technical and support documentation and translating business requirements into reporting and models
- Proficiency querying and managing relational and NoSQL databases
- API-based services technologies experience is mandatory
- Understanding of microservices and EDA approaches, preferably on-premises, is mandatory
- Knowledge of DevOps methods and tools, with at least 2–3 years of experience
- IT project management knowledge
- Basic experience with IT Service Management principles
- Basic knowledge of Data Analytics and AI principles/techniques
- Commitment to compliance, integrity and awareness of potential compliance risks
