About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a strategic HR partner, translating complex business initiatives into innovative people solutions
  • Align People objectives with organizational objectives across designated business units
  • Advise leadership on tactical and strategic HR matters
  • Develop, implement, administer and maintain HR projects, programs, processes and policies
  • Drive employee engagement and provide customer-focused support to employees
  • Develop HR strategic plans and advisory partnerships with key leaders
  • Identify people-related needs, risks and future issues and align human capital strategies with business outcomes
  • Drive complex organizational initiatives and recommend process improvements using data analytics
  • Conduct employee listening activities, focus groups, exit interview analysis and engagement surveys
  • Identify employee-relations risks, conduct root-cause analysis and develop preventative strategies
  • Guide sensitive employee-relations cases and lead complex HR investigations
  • Coach leaders on complex employee-relations matters and difficult conversations
  • Analyze employee-relations data and collaborate on audits or investigations
  • Forecast talent demands and skills requirements and develop workforce plans
  • Lead career coaching, succession planning, talent pipelines and leadership-development initiatives
  • Support recruiting, applicant screening, pre-screening interviews and staffing solutions
  • Facilitate onboarding and advise managers on performance management and development
  • Translate business challenges into briefs for COE partners and facilitate knowledge transfer
  • Lead organizational transformation and change-management initiatives
  • Assess change readiness, develop communication strategies, manage resistance and monitor engagement feedback
  • Identify and manage change stakeholders and build change readiness
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or combination of education and appropriate work experience
  • 9 years of progressive HR experience as an HRBP
  • 4 years of experience working in a multi-functional international environment
  • 4 years of experience in Aerospace preferred
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certifications
  • Onsite physical presence on a weekly basis required
  • Able to see and read computer screens, documents, reports and engineering drawings
  • Able to hear and participate in conversations and hear production-floor safety warnings or alarms
  • Able to speak in conversations and meetings and deliver information
  • Able to operate office and personal electronic equipment and some production tools
  • Able to sit for long periods
  • Able to travel independently and at short notice
  • Able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces
  • Required PPE may include safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators/masks and protective gloves
  • Steel-toed shoes and appropriate hearing/eye protection required for shop-floor visits
  • Current work authorization required; Airbus does not sponsor visas for US positions unless specified
