About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Airbus Aerostructures Procurement teams with digital data solutions
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support informed business decisions and improve business processes
- Gather relevant data from various sources, primarily using Skywise
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to data from source systems and Excel files
- Transition datasets into sustainable, robust database solutions in Skywise
- Leverage Generative AI and LLM tools to automate analytical workflows and extract insights from unstructured data
- Clean and prepare raw data to ensure data quality
- Create charts, graphs, and visual representations using clear data storytelling
- Drive automation and digitalization initiatives across procurement and supply chain management processes
- Design and develop reports and executive dashboards for spend analyses and performance KPIs
- Identify process-improvement levers and measure performance within procurement workflows
- Utilize and maintain software and tools for data analysis and visualization
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance
- Collaborate with teams and management to identify information needs, optimization opportunities, and targeted KPIs
- Act as the interface between business functions, the data ecosystem, and desired solutions
- Share best practices and support adoption of a data-driven mindset across the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analysis, Data Science, or a similar field
- Work experience in Analytics and Procurement skills are beneficial
- Experience in agile project management and stakeholder management is a strong plus
- Ability to understand, interpret, and visualize data
- Experience creating and optimizing reports and dashboards using tools such as Skywise, Tableau, Power BI, Google Workspace, or Excel
- Programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript
- Familiarity with SQL and querying relational databases
- R and/or SPSS is a plus
- Experience working with SAP, ideally module MM
- Data-driven mindset and ability to learn fast
- Familiarity with GSuite
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player
- Business fluency in English and good German skills are required
