About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead R&D projects from the study phase through the validation of robotic industrial solutions in a production environment
  • Design and manage the development of new end effectors adapted to complex aerospace assembly processes
  • Explore and prepare cobotic and humanoid solutions for the factory of the future
  • Maintain active technology monitoring in robotics, cobotics, and automation
  • Ensure the achievement of Technical, Quality, Cost, and Delivery objectives for major innovation projects
  • Collaborate with other Airbus Atlantic departments and sites, as well as partners and systems integrators
  • Travel regularly to other production sites in France and potentially abroad
  • Join a team of eight dedicated to developing assembly technologies and report to the Industrial R&D Directorate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant industry experience as a Project Manager or Project Lead
  • Ideally, experience in industrialization environments and the development of automated equipment
  • Strong knowledge of industrial robotics
  • Mechanical design skills using CAD tools such as CATIA V5
  • Knowledge of automation
  • Experience managing complex technical projects
  • Skills in industrial robotics and cobotics
  • Expertise in assembly process engineering
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a multisite environment
  • Upper-intermediate English, minimum B1/B2 level
  • Fluent French
  • Willingness to travel regularly in France and potentially abroad
