About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Source, screen and recommend candidates for Airbus roles from entry level through senior leadership
  • Develop and deploy advanced sourcing strategies, including cold calling and network development
  • Represent the Airbus employment value proposition and published Airbus Values
  • Build applicant pools and establish trust and partnerships with managers
  • Identify candidate fit through interviewing and testing
  • Administer interviewing and onboarding processes
  • Ensure a positive new hire experience
  • Develop and execute recruitment plans and strategies to meet hiring goals
  • Consult with leaders, hiring managers and HR on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation and sourcing strategies
  • Deliver high-quality shortlists
  • Recruit, conduct resume and phone screens, interview candidates, recommend final selections and close qualified candidates
  • Post and update jobs across internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards and staffing partners
  • Promote Airbus referral programs and internal opportunities
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and staffing administration
  • Respond to internal and external applicant situations and requests
  • Follow up with managers to assess recruiting effectiveness
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Develop networks and partnerships to build candidate databases and pipelines and strengthen the Airbus brand
  • Partner with Business HR leaders to anticipate Talent Acquisition needs and create pipelines
  • Represent Airbus at recruiting events and job fairs
  • Provide company and job information and interview applicants at events
  • Give presentations at colleges and attend student group meetings
  • Increase college awareness of Airbus before and after career fairs
  • Identify and support events that connect Airbus with appropriate candidate pools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive talent acquisition, candidate sourcing and interviewing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or combination of education and appropriate work experience
  • Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws and procedures
  • Working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs
  • Knowledge of US employment and labor laws and their application to recruitment and applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge of the regional labor market
  • Knowledge of recruiting techniques and online/social media recruiting
  • Experience and/or exposure in the assigned area of responsibility preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication, marketing, presentation, interviewing and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills
  • Time management, multitasking and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, trustworthiness and confidentiality
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Google Suite proficiency
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate sourcing tools
  • Ability to work in the US without a current or future need for visa sponsorship
  • Ability to travel independently and at short notice
  • French, German or Spanish language skills preferred
