About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and scale resilient, client-facing applications using React and Python
Scale distributed backend systems, asynchronous messaging, and relational databases
Containerize services with Docker and Kubernetes for consistent development, testing, and production environments
Partner with Product and Design to turn complex requirements into intuitive user experiences
Leverage AI tools daily to accelerate development, debugging, and code quality
Participate in architecture reviews, process improvements, and fast-paced startup iterations
Work closely with a cross-functional squad including Product, UX, and R&D
Build, scale, and maintain production-ready applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

~5 years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production-ready, client-facing web applications
Strong React expertise paired with Python or Node.js
Experience with REST APIs and microservices
Hands-on experience with relational databases, PostgreSQL preferred
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS
Experience designing and maintaining scalable backend architectures
Comfortable with high autonomy, fast pace, and evolving priorities
Active user of AI development tools for faster coding and troubleshooting
Great communication, critical thinking, and a collaborative mindset
Nice to have: cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Nice to have: Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
Nice to have: TypeScript, WebSockets, or real-time data streaming
