About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain smooth operation of cloud-based systems and coordinate with network administrators
- Set up administrator and service accounts
- Maintain cloud infrastructure documentation and tenant inventory
- Tune system performance
- Install system-wide software and allocate mass storage space
- Respond to large-scale events involving instantiation of virtual machines and storage
- Fix critical software and system failures
- Propose, drive, and implement technical solutions for automation, efficiency, and scalability
- Develop and improve tools, reports, and processes to monitor cloud environment health
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments
- IAT-2 certification
- One or more cloud certifications
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- Experience working in regulated environments
- Experience following secure engineering and documentation practices
- Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems (nice to have)
