About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, deploy and operate cloud infrastructure using networking, containerization and infrastructure as code
- Improve developer tooling, automation and internal platforms
- Create clear documentation and maintainable, production-ready code
- Strengthen reliability through monitoring and observability
- Apply security and compliance practices throughout infrastructure and delivery pipelines
- Collaborate with developers, SREs, DataOps and other stakeholders
- Develop and operate Aize’s Internal Development Platform
- Make the platform easier to use, more flexible and more automated, with clearer documentation and Terraform modules
- Investigate problems, debug effectively, participate in code reviews and automate improvements
- Work with a distributed DevOps team across the UK and Norway
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, software development, or a related field
- Solid understanding of networking, containers, security, infrastructure as code and observability
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AKS and Terraform
- Proficiency with Python or Bash, Linux, Git, CI/CD and GitOps
- Ability to write clear, maintainable code and infrastructure
- Understanding of automated testing and ability to contribute to unit and integration tests
- Experience debugging and participating in code reviews
- Database knowledge, cloud security experience, Azure Networking, or experience contributing to internal platforms or developer tooling are nice to have
