Key responsibilities & impact

Build and improve features for learning platforms
Write front-end and back-end code
Connect products to LMS tools and school systems
Write tests and fix bugs
Help add AI features to the product
Use AI coding tools in daily work to write, test, and review code faster
Share progress and raise problems early
Work with the Lead Developer and product team
Write clean code and ship work on a regular schedule

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-3 years of software development
Experience working on EdTech or learning products
Good skills in React or Next.js, and in Node.js or Python
Comfortable with APIs, databases, and Git
Basic knowledge of accessibility and student data privacy
Hands-on experience using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) in a real project
Regular use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) and the judgment to check their output
Good written and spoken communication: clear updates, and questions asked early
Willing to learn fast and take ownership
Nice to have: Experience with LTI, SCORM, or xAPI
Nice to have: Experience with prompt design, RAG, or AI agents
Nice to have: Experience with video, quizzes, or assessment tools
