About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage daily administrative operations of the Raleigh office
- Schedule and coordinate external vendors and suppliers
- Report general maintenance needs and manage completion
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Manage purchase orders and forward them to accounting for processing
- Distribute mail and process FedEx and UPS shipments
- Assist with conference calls, meeting planning, and meeting room reservations
- Coordinate travel and hotel arrangements for guests and managers
- Screen and admit visitors according to the Visitor Control Policy
- Order meals for business meetings and office functions
- Schedule and facilitate monthly meetings
- Manage business-office building improvement projects with appropriate departments
- Coordinate office-procedure training for employees
- Create, post, and manage digital message-board content
- Audit inventory and order supplies for the Specialty & Personal Care division
- Coordinate and ship SPC samples to North American and Canadian customers
- Organize and maintain samples
- Perform other assigned job-related duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience working in an office environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrates discretion and the ability to keep matters confidential
- Must be an initiative-taker with great initiative
- Ability to make decisions, as necessary
- Ability to multitask
- Demonstrate exceptional attention details
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to sit for 3-6 hours per day
- Stand, walk, bend over, and reach above head less than an hour a day
- Ability to lift or carry a minimum of fifty pounds
- Eye/hand coordination and repetitive use of hands/arms for writing and computer work
- Ability to work safely around hazardous elements and follow safety policies, SOPs, BPRs, and applicable ISO standards
