About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete three one-year assignments in the 3-year Akamai Financial Development Program
  • Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and outlooks, and resource planning analyses
  • Perform deep-dive variance analysis on spending areas
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure proper expense recognition
  • Learn finance systems, tools, and reporting cadences
  • Provide timely financial reporting of monthly results
  • Analyze key variances, business drivers, metrics, and trends
  • Develop data, reports, models, and ad hoc analyses
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Gain support for changes and lead collaborative implementation
  • Receive exposure to business/product line finance, commercial/sales finance, corporate FP&A, and financial systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field between January–June 2027 (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior internship or work experience in financial analysis or a similar role
  • Leadership capability and initiative to learn new roles
