About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting and in-depth customer or product analysis
Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and outlooks, and resource planning analysis
Identify process improvement opportunities and gain support to implement improvements with the team
Generate business presentations for senior Finance management, including a final showcase presentation
Perform industry analyses to develop operational best practices and update internal documentation
Work with mentors across business line finance, commercial finance, and corporate financial planning and analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in a business-related field and planning to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028
Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Have prior internship experience in financial analysis or a related area
Have proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Be a self-starter, excited about working in an entrepreneurial, quick environment
Be available to work in a hybrid format from the Akamai Cambridge HQ
Be available 40 hours per week through mid August
12-week summer intern program starting in May
