Deploy critical software, metadata, network, and platform changes safely, accurately, and efficiently across global networks
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to maintain platform stability
Identify, design, and implement operational process improvements that maximize change safety and operational efficiency
Improve internal tools, monitoring alerts, operational procedures, and technical documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Subject Matter Experts
Isolate software and platform bugs and develop long-term technical resolutions
Maintain the stability, safety, and high availability of global network infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience administering Linux/Unix systems in large-scale content distributed environments
Experience monitoring, administering, and troubleshooting high-availability platform environments
Solid understanding of SQL and scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, and Shell
Working knowledge of core networking technologies and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, WAN, and DNS
Ability to partner with Subject Matter Experts to identify underlying issues/bugs and implement robust resolutions
Ability to prioritize tasks, make sound decisions, and solve problems in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
