About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with engineering teams to assess the implementation of security controls
- Evaluate compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and HIPAA
- Collect, validate, and organize audit evidence for internal and external reviews
- Perform control testing to verify documented processes operate effectively
- Track remediation activities and assist system owners with resolving findings
- Review technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and change records
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with IAM, networking, encryption, logging, and vulnerability management
- Experience with one or more frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, or HIPAA
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, or Akamai Cloud/Linode
- Experience using GRC platforms such as ServiceNow IRM, Archer, or AuditBoard
