About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a subject matter expert across cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with architects
- Lead compliance assessments and readiness activities across cloud computing platforms and delivery services
- Translate complex regulatory standards into actionable guidance for technical architecture and engineering teams
- Evaluate technical architectures, control designs, and operational effectiveness against established industry benchmarks
- Conduct risk assessments and direct cross-functional remediation efforts across technical teams
- Develop security compliance playbooks, implementation documentation, and automated monitoring workflows
- Mentor team members
- Represent the organization during external certification assessments and audits
- Implement scalable control improvements across the environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or NIST
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, identity management, network security, and vulnerability management
- Solid analytical, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication skills
- Familiarity with compliance automation tools, GRC platforms, and cloud service provider environments
- Experience coordinating multi-organization audit evidence collection and leading external assessment engagements
