Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents, including data breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access attempts
Identify the root cause of security incidents and determine the scope of impact
Monitor internal infrastructure and customer events using central alerting and graphing systems
Collaborate with security teams to address threats, enhance defenses, and prevent future incidents
Improve overall security posture
Oversee identification and resolution of vulnerabilities arising from security-related incidents
Provide training and guidance to team members regarding security incidents, potential gaps, and associated risks
Stay current with emerging threat hunts and digital forensics tools and methodologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

8 years of experience in Information Security
High School Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
4–6 years specifically focused on Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), intrusion detection, and network or application security
Understanding of Endpoint, Network, Perimeter, and Endpoint Detection Response security product solutions, including SentinelOne or CrowdStrike
Solid knowledge of operating system internals (macOS, Linux, and/or Windows) and network fundamentals
Proficiency in forensic tools such as Sleuthkit, Axiom, Magnet, EnCase, FTK, Autopsy, and other industry-standard software
Relevant certifications such as CHFI, CISSP, GCFA, GCIH, GIAC, or EnCE
