About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines, enhance software tools, and develop robust testing frameworks to ensure quality release standards
  • Lead technical initiatives and own the design, deployment, and evolution of custom government network platforms
  • Design and develop next-generation capabilities for custom platform services
  • Guide code reviews, apply security patches, and identify improvements for software delivery and system performance
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to manage SDLC release cycles using modern Agile practices and AI-assisted workflows
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and SRE teams to investigate and troubleshoot complex technical system issues
  • Support, enhance, and integrate custom platform frameworks, automated build systems, distributed cloud databases, and storage ecosystems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
  • Solid knowledge of Linux or Unix administration, configuration, system-level software development, and debugging tools
  • Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and interpretive languages including Python or Perl
  • Experience managing CI/CD automation pipelines using Jenkins or similar continuous integration tooling
  • Hands-on familiarity with Docker containers, NoSQL databases, cloud storage, and networking protocols
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture, Public Key Infrastructure standards, systems security, and security patching
  • US Citizenship
  • Eligibility to undergo the required security clearance process; an active clearance is not required
