Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement systems running various server operating systems on virtual, physical, and cloud infrastructures
Work with hardware vendors to provide customer solutions
Apply automation and best practices for Linux-based operating systems
Keep systems up to date with the latest software and security standards
Adopt best-practice guidelines and implement continuous process improvements
Collaborate and brainstorm with team members to ensure solution quality and accuracy
Assess, create, and improve processes for optimal resource utilization and customer satisfaction
Provide support for L1 and L2 operations teams

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience
Engineering graduation
Ability to manage multiple projects and set stakeholder expectations
Knowledge of virtualization, cloud services such as AWS and Azure, and hypervisors such as Qemu, VMware, and HyperV
Scripting and automation experience with Ansible
Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
Familiarity with Internet protocols such as TCP/UDP, DNS, and/or HTTP/HTTPS
Ability to communicate complex technical content to audiences with varying technical abilities
Ability to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environment
