About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently record all business transactions in the general and subsidiary ledgers for multiple entities
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) for the GmbH
- Perform monthly consolidation of all entities
- Supervise and support external tax advisors with the preparation of annual financial statements for international subsidiaries
- Actively manage cash flow
- Ensure transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Further develop, automate, and standardize finance processes and systems
- Collaborate with the Finance team and various stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting or financial accounting
- Experience as a balance sheet accountant is preferred
- Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and tax law
- Successfully completed degree in finance/business administration or commercial training in finance
- Additional qualification as a balance sheet accountant is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of DATEV
- Strong affinity for IT and ERP systems
- Proficient use of MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Fluent business-level German and English
- Excellent communication skills when working with diverse stakeholders
- Structured and conscientious approach to work
- Initial experience in a dynamic SaaS environment is a plus
