About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams using advanced 2D/3D equipment
  • Collect thorough patient history and information to provide the interpreting Radiologist with accurate clinical history
  • Perform mammogram exams on patients
  • Obtain patient history, prior films/reports, and other supporting information through RIS/PACS and burn discs
  • Perform FDA/ACR-required quality control
  • Provide imaging support to other modalities in the center, including x-ray and bone density
  • Work with mammogram letters, including results and reminders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • Certificate from College or Technical School
  • Mammography Program (State approved)
  • ARRT (M)
  • State License, if applicable
  • CPR certification
  • As applicable, valid state driver’s license
  • Must have met initial requirements under MQSA standards
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
