About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform patient safety procedures, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Order supplies and clean the unit
  • Assist in preparing the unit for daily transport
  • Communicate effectively with customers and/or radiologists
  • Train new technologists and/or PC's
  • Travel between and support UM Health–Sparrow partner sites as part of a mobile role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
  • Registered Technologists by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS
  • State License, as required
  • Technologists performing mid-day moves
  • CPR certification
  • Active state driver’s license
  • Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience (preferred)
  • Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT (preferred)
