About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and control raw material and input inventories
  • Ensure the supply of AkzoNobel facilities and subcontracting partners to meet production and sales plans
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure deliveries are made in the agreed quantities and within the agreed deadlines using SAP
  • Execute the daily input replenishment schedule using Kanban and SAP
  • Issue purchase orders and manage orders through SAP and Kanban
  • Monitor scheduled deliveries of local raw materials on a daily basis
  • Analyze critical Kanban items to prevent stockouts
  • Control the return and replenishment of inputs rejected by suppliers
  • Maintain and update the delivery schedule in SAP to measure logistics performance (OTIF)
  • Analyze supply information, communicate deviations to suppliers, and support action plans to improve delivery performance
  • Manage consignment processes, including balance, consumption, and invoicing reconciliation
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects focused on logistics and planning efficiency
  • Support Level 1 MDI Planning routines in partnership with Production and Materials teams
  • Monitor quality procedures and standards, ensuring compliance with production volumes and product launches

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in planning and controlling domestic and imported materials
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Intermediate or advanced English is a plus
  • Intermediate or advanced Spanish is a plus
  • Graduate-level qualification is a plus
