About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide day-to-day management of clinical operations within the department
Manage staff supervision, clinic workflow, patient triage, and clinical quality initiatives
Work closely with Managers, Administrator, and Division Chief to establish and maintain an efficient, cohesive, and productive work team
Manage patient flow through clinic and all point-of-care testing
Supervise clinical staff and provide support when needed
Review processes and procedures to ensure optimal clinic workflow and capturing of charges
Develop and motivate staff to work effectively and within their licensure
Foster a collaborative relationship with the Practice Coordinator
Attend Senior Manager meetings and troubleshoot and resolve issues with fellow managers
Protect confidentiality of patient and staff-related concerns
Oversee supply and medication ordering in a cost-conscious manner
Ensure Joint Commission compliance and weekly tracer submission

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree in Nursing is required
NYS Registered Nurse Licensure is required
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience is required, preferably in a charge or supervisory role
BSN is preferred
